The film Braveheart, starring Mel Gibson, is epic that revolves around the character William Wallace and his fight for Scottish independence from the juggernaut Kingdom of England. The film itself was a turning point in the film making of historical epics. The battle scenes and cinematography were incredibly done and set the path for many more releases of historical epics. The film itself was very deserving of its 10 Academy Award nominations.

MUVE
I have had some experience using multi-user virtual environments(MUVE). Our public library has programmed every public computer to have the game Minecraft on it. The users are able to join a multi-player environment and can interact with other users that are playing the game in the library. This technology allows libraries to offer a place to create virtual worlds where they can interact with others who share their interests.

Facebook and Twitter Comparison
I have had extensive experience using several of social networks. Facebook and Twitter are the two that I have undoubtedly used the most. The two networks are very similar but I think that Facebook is more of an ongoing social relationship builder. Twitter keeps people updated on present day and trending topics. It is less about social connections and more about staying informed. Personally, I use Facebook to look at pictures of friends and family. I use Twitter usually just to follow the news and other current events.
I believe that social networks are very beneficial for library and information science professionals in a variety of ways. One example is that the public library in my hometown uses Facebook to keep patrons informed of upcoming events and programs.
